Writing? Maybe.

I read an article today about a CEO who intentionally spends a minimum of five minutes every evening journaling, writing down important things about the day’s events. This allows her to go back over these logs in the future, pulling out tidbits rather than relying on faulty memories or on the recollections (often off the mark) of others.

It was an intriguing thought, and I wondered whether I would be able to sustain the same level of commitment to laying down my thoughts. There’s also the issue of whether this blog, which is publicly accessible from my Facebook page, is the best place for me to capture my thoughts. Perhaps it would be better to create a completely anonymous blog somewhere. I’ll have to consider that option …

In the meantime, I really do want to find the time to capture more of my thoughts, mundane and repetitive though they may be. I’ll see what I can do about keeping up with that good intention.
