Nothing, Nada, Nichts

I don’t often allow myself the luxury of doing Nothing for an entire day, but today was a day when I did.

Of course, I couldn’t do entirely nothing all day – there was laundry to be done, some papers to be printed and collated and mailed, dinner to be decided and prepared. And I took time to play the piano a lot, sight-reading through many of Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words, and I spent the usual amount of time on email and Facebook along with a bit of reading.

But overall, I did nothing I had otherwise planned to do. If only I could do it all over again tomorrow! But tomorrow is Monday and it’s back to work for me. There are some good things to look forward to during the week, but not much that quite beats the feeling of Doing Nothing for a day 🙂
