Excitement Builds

The trip plans are firming up! Here’s what I believe the route will be:

Longmeadow MA to Binghamton NY to Maumee OH to West Des Moines IA to Laramie WY to Salt Lake City UT to Reno NV to Oakland CA

After a few days in Oakland, I’ll head to Eugene OR for two nights (getting an oil change while there), then it’s on to Twin Falls ID to Grand Junction CO to Steamboat Springs CO to Greeley CO to Sioux City IA to Minneapolis MN to (maybe?) Marquette MI to Grand Rapids MI.

I’m planning three nights in Grand Rapids (there are so many brewpubs in that area!), then 3 nights in Columbus OH (for the food and state parks and another oil change), then Erie PA, then home.

In all, this should net out to 4 weeks on the road and about 8,000 miles of driving. I’m counting the days.
