Road Trip 2014, Day 2

Yesterday was the second-longest travel day this week, just about 525 miles from Johnson City, NY to Ann Arbor, MI. Temperatures were up and down through New York State, often in the low 60s, and settled into the low 80s (with high humidity) once I hit Michigan. In spite of heavy rains in parts of NY, the travel was easy and traffic wasn’t too heavy anywhere.

After settling into my room at the Microtel, I went to Grizzly Peak Brewing for a relaxing dinner, and when I returned to the hotel, I found the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile in the parking lot! Here it is:
